Individuals registered with the Department of Information and Public Relations, Govt. of Karnataka, as Covid Warriors and the team then worked with other teams on awareness materials, extended support to fight spread of fake news, engaged in distribution of ration and food to poor and migrants. During the first wave of Covid -19 pandemic, CV7 team, which was an informal citizen collective, organised themselves with a kitchen and pooled financial resources and provided meals for about 450 underprivileged individuals affected by lockdown, daily for 45 days. And grocery kits were provided to 100 families to support them for 15 days.

In collaboration with Lodge of Light-413 and support from Sindhi Seva Samiti & BBMP, CV7 set up a transit “Oxygen Micro-Care Centre” with an intention to provide oxygen support service for COVID patients whose oxygen levels are dropping and fluctuating between 85-93. The objective of this interim arrangement, being, oxygen supplementation for people with mild respiratory distress (poor oxygen saturation), and preventing them from deteriorating further and going into severe distress at which stage it may be difficult to revive them.
In collaboration with Columbia Asia Hospital, Hebbal, Bengaluru, the first vaccination drive was organised on 31.05.2021 and 500 doses of Covishield vaccine was administered.
In collaboration with Rainbow Children's Hospital, International Airport Road, Bengaluru, a second vaccination drive was organized on 10.06.2021 and 600 doses of Covishield vaccine was administered. During this seven persons who could not afford vaccine cost were sponsored by CV7.
In collaboration with Rainbow Children's Hospital, International Airport Road, Bengaluru, a third vaccination drive was organized on 26.06.2021 and 195 doses of Covishield vaccine was administered. During this drive about 25% of the doses administered were sponsored by CV7 to cover the waste picker community, fishermen community, and other underprivileged.
